Colour: Black
Jet black coat covered with few bright yellow atomic symbols and several scars, his eyes are toxic green and show catlike features. His slightly wavy black hair features toxic green strands. He wears dull grey metal armour with spikes and a long black leather bracelet with grey feathers and black stones. The spikes of his armour are integrated into his spine and can be moved at Azrael's will. They also often showcase his emotions.

Skills: SHADOW | Controls and casts shadows; Able to shapeshift into any form (he usually prefers a hellhound or human) by integrating himself into shadows; Mutates alongside Akshar into his natural form "Akael", an ancient demonic creature.

Personality: Azrael seems to be a bad boy if you just met him, but he’s actually calm and gentle if he trusts you. He's got a ghetto slang and doesn’t care about anyone except his friends, but sometimes has his "bright moments" when he can be a bit philosophical or even helpful and kind. However he usually messes up most things and friendships, resulting in him staying alone most of the time. He can be aggressive and greedy, not sharing his knowledge and therefore is often called an unpleasant fellow.

Story: Over a thousand years ago a creature called Akael was born. The shadow god Sargonnas had bred to an unknown, very powerful female demon, who left him with his child once it was a few days old. The god used to believe that he had created the most powerful and worthy servant which would be very useful to control his territory. As Akael grew, he developed powers quicker and far more powerful than Sargonnas had imagined and although he refused to teach his son, Akael discovered his abilities and began to understand his power by himself. Slowly Sargonnas started to fear the creature he had created and felt his position as god threatened, therefore sought help from other gods who understood the situation and advised Sargonnas to destroy what he had brought to life. Akael overheard his plans and was shocked but at the same time he felt like he had known before. The creature fled his fathers territory and hid himself in the common world.
Azrael himself cannot explain what happened throughout the years where he was alone with himself, he would later describe it as if he broke apart. Akael started arguing and disputing with himself. Being left and abadoned by his father was unworthy of his powers. One side wanted to seek revenge, the other side just didn't care. The inner fight continued many years and one day resulted in a moment of huge rage where Akael would destroy everything around him ... and in the process he also split himself.
Azrael and Akshar were born. Two far weaker creatures that disguised themselves as horses who represented the two personalities of Akael. The two of them continued to be in dispute and decided to part their ways as staying together just didn't make any sense. The two reunited when Azrael was attacked by Sargonnas as their father finally found out how they escaped and hid themselves. Azrael was at the merge of death when Akshar decided to dismiss their arguments and mutated together with Azrael back into their old form. Akael had preserved his power, although being split for so long, and finally turned his hate and wrath towards Sargonnas. The shadow god had no chance and was overcome far too quickly. He had to flee and hide himself, much to Akaels liking as he deserved to experience the same fate, that the twins had to endure.
Akshar and Azrael again parted after the fight. This time however being somehow at peace as they were able to read each others minds and understood themselves better. Both were lone wolves that would meet if neccessary but otherwise stay alone. Azrael used his newly found freedom to discover areas that shadow gods had no access to. Although being scruffy and unpleasant, he deeply appreciated Talaiths intentions to care for him and even opened up his heart when she finally asked why he always stayed alone. He only then realised that being as powerful as Akael was, he always feared to abuse his powers and turn to be like his father. Argueing with himsel - or rather arguing with Akshar - allowed him to make sure that he still had his own will and intentions and did not simply murder everything around him.
The next years were somehow peaceful until Akshar was attacked by a stranger called Laturce. Azrael ran to aid his twin, Talaith following him. Together the three of them fought near exhaustion against Laturce, an assassin that was hired by Sargonnas as he wasn't able to face his sons again. Talaith, Akshar and Azrael nearly gave up hope when Seska suddenly appeared. The wolfdog knew Laturce as they were trained at the same assassin clan. She gladly helped the others by sharing her knowledge and together they defeated Laturce.
Azrael was very interested in Seska as she represented the pure brutality and aggressive behaviour that he feared. He overcame his inner anxiety and tried to get to know her. The two of them developed a sort of relationship however not as sexual partners but rather as fight companions and very loyal friends. They do have their weak moments though when Azraels wall slips down and he accept his love for Seska however most of the time the two are fairly happy with their company and don't think about much more.
The adventures somehow fused Akshar and Azrael together, they decided to form a sort of Alliance including the twins, Talaith and Seska. The four horses usually wander around all sorts of areas, sometimes parting and meeting again after years or months. If one needs help, the other three will always be there within minutes. 
Although having a difficult start and being grumpy and surpressed, Azrael and Akshar have managed to get along and somewhat enjoy their more or less peaceful life.
